Physical Therapy:

 

Our Physical Therapy (PT) provides specialized services that promote your maximum level of independence. PT uses specially designed exercises and equipment on the musculoskeletal system to help patients regain or improve their physical abilities. Your individual care plan begins with a full musculoskeletal assessment. Therapy is available seven days a week. Our Physical Therapists work with many types of patients, including adults suffering from the after-effects of injury, fracture or joint replacement, arthritic injuries, post-stroke patients, as well as osteoarthritis and age-related musculoskeletal disorders. They are compassionate, patient and motivational, proceeding at a pace that best suits you. 

 

Occupational Therapy:

 

Our Occupational Therapists Registered (OTRs) provide therapy for fine motor muscles, such as your fingers. Patients recovering from stroke or injury, or living with a debilitating disease such as arthritis, may require Occupational Therapy to regain activities of daily living, such as bathing or ambulating. Our Rehab Specialists work toward rebuilding everyday functions and activities of daily living such as tub transfers. While caring and understanding the difficulties of recovery, our Therapists will work with residents either daily or on a as needed basis and can design and prescribe assistive devices to improve the quality of daily living for patients with conditions of the muscles and joints.

 

Speech Therapy:

 

Our Speech Therapy Team focuses on the recovery of neurological issues, impediments to swallowing, or confusion with words while helping residents regain as much speech as possible after an accident or illness. Therapy includes a wide-aray of exercises and audio-visual aids that develop new speech habits and can be done in our treatment rooms or the resident's room.
